My Audi dealer here in Sweden just got confirmation that the car will be a reality. Unfortunately no facts about it.

I don't see the resemblance with the RS5! It's much smaller, based on R4-E-tron ''thing''!

This would be a very welcome change from the very understated and play it conventional rule book that Audi adopted the recent years, R8/R4 aside.

So what would be the sharing parts with the RS5 then? Could you read into that article please?

it doesn't matter what it is - it is fu**ing beautiful - some sort of BMW Z4?

and it reminds me on this posting from qisha...

the inline 5 engine has a great potential and you can assume to see the use of this engine again. A inline 5 with 415HP, 420 ft/lb mated to a 7 or even 8 speed S-tronic within a 3300 pound chassis could do the trick.

8 Speed S-Tronic would be a new box, especially since 420ft/lb is the upper limit of torque handled by the current 7 Speed S-Tronic.

This post makes everything more plausible and sporting some nice specs.

Try to avoid using words: ''Audi'', ''as'', ''BMW'' together in a same sentence if you want to be remembered by a good taste!

    Anyhow, this is very promising!

Hehe, finally.... Based on A3 but heavily modified of course. 5 cyl engine turbocharged. A real toy, very pricey, limited edition.
