Cool Photos of RS6 & new A8L --happy couple!

I picked up the new A8L on Thursday (9/11) and I thought I'd share a few pictures of the happy couple:

It actually looks a bit less blue and more grey than I expected, but I like it. Just for reference, here is a picture of the "Northern Blue Pearl Effect" from the build-your-own Audi website:

The "L" means long wheelbase. It is almost a foot longer than the standard A8, for more back room. It is the only model available in the US.

    Nice car, Kyle.

Thanks for all the nice comments on the cars! I put a few more miles on the A8L today and I must say it is a pleasure to drive --even if it's not quite as sporty as the RS6.

And, NO, the M5 is not mine (I wish). Wow, that didn't take long. I was wondering if anyone would notice my brothers 2000 Le Mans Blue M5 in the background. It is a very nice ride, indeed!

He and I have raced at Sebring in my highly modified Camaro, but being a gentlemen, I can't tell you about the outcome. I haven't had the chance to give him a run for his money in the RS6 yet. It's only a matter of time. Meanwhile the RS6 should get even quicker as the miles accumulate and the engine loosens up a bit.

    Very very nice!

For your information the W12 will be launched next year, the S8 will take longer. (IAA news)
