    RNS-E Interest

I have the RNS-E radio with the Dice Ipod and the BT module. It has the 2008 or 2009 Nav disc. If there is interest let me know.

    Willie,

Your car will have all the adapters and sub harness. Take a look at any RNSE install instructions or my RNSE install thread.

Price, well that is the issue. What is a fair price based on depreciation/ use? What will the market bring? What is the price of a new one with the bells and whistles? $1500, $1300, $1100, are these competitive price points or are they lofty? $1000, $900, $750, are these the right price points or are they way to generous? Maybe we should have an Auction here on this thread.

There isn't much depreciation. I sold my first one for $1500 including the XM module. I bought mine that i have now used from another owner for $1300 w the XM. Your BT if OEM holds value well. I would be interested in that too if it is the version done through the On-star.

What I know about the receiver is that it has BT and it does work through the On-Star, and the Dice Ipod module. I dont think it has a Sat module. If it does I have not seen it. I think $1300 shipped is a fair price.

    Yep, your in the ballpark.

Try to get more info on the BT. How does it work? thru car speakers and the deck? Check your rear compartment of the car. That is where the sat module is located.

The Bluetooth module goes under the passenger well floorboard and has a small antenna hooked to it so be careful as the antenna is fragile. The Satellite module is located in the left trunk compartment, kind of buried back there but visible. The RNS-E headunit is capable of Satellite & Bluetooth but you still need these separate modules for the systems to work otherwise you just have the Nav & stereo (FM, AM, MP3 (SD Cards)). A great system with or without the Bluetooth and Satellite, but even better with, especially the BT in my mind (small as it is).

The BT is integrated through the On Star. I have the Instructions showing how to uninstall the On Star module and back-up battery and how to replace it with the RNS-E BT module. Yes there is a XM Sat module as well.

    Willie,

Just those two Audi modules are 800 or 1,000 dollars.

Your unit just got more valuable.

Well the radio new is 1400 so used it should be $700-$800. The modules used should be $400-$500 so $1300 is a good selling price for everything.

The radio used is 1500. Used in good condition is worth 1000.

The radio new is over 3500.
