Benefit of the kit: Although 650hp looks mild on paper, the real benefit of this kit is that the design of the Rotrex supercharger delivers all of its power at low and mid rpm which compliment the higher RPM nature of the turbos perfectly. The result is a massively more responsive car at all RPM, helping tremendously at the track and on the street for even more instantaneous power.

Coming in 2009, this kit adds two Rotrex C30-94 supercharges for increased low and mid range power. Also included are 650cc injectors, a P-Map ECU, air filters, intake hard pipe kit and a titanium exhaust system.

It's a awesome looking engine, and i love the high tech part of it.

But i have questions about it.
Does the Rotrex chargers feed the turbo's directly.
Are the turbo's still the factory one's
Do the Rotrex chargers run all the time.
Or are they supporting the turbo with a by-pass and shut down beyond X rpm's.
Does the engine run on two ECU's

I found out answer to some of the The Pretenders questions.

"When the supercharged is maxed out the turbo will forced the air through the supercharged and go in the engine but will not make the supercharged boost anymore."

"P-MAP (Newly developed piggy-back/Sub-ECU) pre-programmed and programmable to re-calibrate fuel (Air Flow less "D-Jetronics" w/ self learning), IG timing, boost, speed & rev limiter"

"The twin turbo twin supercharger kit is available for purchase at Power Enterprise and utilizes the stock IHI turbo setup."

These quotes are found in the youtube link. And also found some more info from this site. http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-4...an-Skyline-GTR

    Ok thanks.
The set-up is in big lines simple.
But does it mean the superchargers run all the time. ?
Or get they disconnected and run on the boost of the turbo by higher rpm's.

I don't understand the use of a second ECU/piggy back.
What does it do and how to get that info to the main ECU.
To me this is the difficult part of the hole engine.

    Absolutely!
This tuning package is made by Power Enterprises company which is not prominent in tech field like HKS tuner for example.
This kit was announced a year ago in January 2009 in Tokyo on car show and this year as well.
He told me this was a show stopper - no one kit was really functionable and workable

According to Rotrex it will work like that.
I ask about the same set-up for the TT RS.
A Rotrex Between the turbo and Intercooler.
