These are nice looking units. I would go for the complete kit and remove the fogs to open up additional frontal area.

Only problem for me. Mine are fine for now and Fidelity covers my car for 5 more years.

Hmmm, "if" mine leak in the future....I could specify these as replacement. Hmmmm

I knew my right one was leaking as their were obvious signs of an oil residue where no oil could possibly have spilt on a corner of the intercooler. I thought my right one was probably good but until I removed it I also saw signs of leaking, although not as bad as the right one. I rigged a pressure test set-up for leaking but my set-up leaked so I'm going to get some more fittings and rig a better one for light pressure testing. I won't go above 15lbs in testing which should be more than sufficient.

Guy's, for your info, Grizz swears by these IC's, has them fitted to his car, and I am next.
You can trust Carsten and his figures.

BTW I have the Wagner hoses. My old OEMs were being blown off every 5 minutes. with these no more problems- top product.

I dont think 034 Motorsports will like the manufacturer going direct to the US market.

I dont know but thats just me.

We dont see the dealers on this forum but the dealers have to pay to advertise the products on other forums. 034 Motorsport does pay to advertise these Wagner intercoolers to the Audi community.

Even VMR stopped short of cutting off their dealers with our purchase of rims. VMR did not wish to short change their dealer network and Audi community.

    Just a thought.

Lupo, I would suggest you guys come up with the 2 extra intercooler hoses and make a 6 hose kit like the Venair hoses. I wouldn't want to replace 4 of the 6 hoses and leave 2 old rubber hoses on the car. I also used the heavier duty constant Torque hose clamps on my car, much better than OEM, especially when running higher boost.
Guys, I highly recommend the Wagner intercoolers, the intercooler quality is excellent. I did the whole kit with ducting but I could go either way on the ducts.

    and here some numbers...

Carsten, are you able to supply these or are they an Audi item?

Also, are the figures with or without the additional water coolers (both stock and yours)?

    Hello Clive,

    yes, these are in Stock.
    http://wagner-tuning.de/produkte/200001010RS6LLK.php

You can get them also at Unit20 or MRC. The Audi OEM Intercooler is smaller and always leaking.

The Graph is made on a regular RS6 without additional Watercoolers. The Watercoolers behind the Intercooler are only on the RS6 plus and Cars with Hot Weather Package (all US Cars so far)

Thanks Carsten. Do you also supply the RS6+ watercoolers or are these an Audi part? In fact, are they necessary at all with your ICs?

These are a OEM Audi Part. You dont need to buy these, they are not necessary!

    ... Order Placed...

Figured why not... enough ppl seem to be happy with them, I have the whole kit coming.

I sould be able to get before and after Dyno info as well. My thoughts are:

Leave car parked overnight in Dyno room
    May pre-runs and log data
    Install I/C's
Leave car parked in Dyno room
Perform after install runs and log data

Should be interesting, I want to get them done in time for the Texas Mile end of this month!

    More to follow
