Battery Relocation to spare wheel well - DIY

Hello guys. Well I'm almost ready to relocate my battery to the spare wheel location. Just got the euro trunk carpet set today (floor, both sides and back plate). Waiting for the OEM battery bracket for the spare wheel well, then the fun begins!

I just got a flat and the spare saved me, 20 minutes and I was back on the road. I won't be doing this mod any time soon. I take it you'll carry some fix a flat?

I'm on an Island Avus-RS6, 86 sq miles. Takes me a little over an hour from end to end on the "good" roads. Run flats rated for 50 miles so I'll be home Long before they disintegrate! Plus if I got a flat, I got the compressor to help out Euro guys don't have one, not too many complaints.

Sounds good to me, probably not many road hazards to pop a tire either.

How much will this project cost you, if you don't mind me asking?

Haven't gotten a quote for the battery bracket and power cable, but the carpet kit was $350, spare wheel well tool kit was $150. Current battery bracket will need to be removed by grinding, new brackets welded, so that's added cost also.
