No 1 Performance sheet: Bugatti Veyron vs. Koenigsegg CCR, CCX, CCX-R

Here's a list of all the official testing done on these cars.

If you know of more test I will be happy to add them, just write here or send me a pm.

    http://www.rs6.com/pdf/Acceleration.pdf

Note that the CCX-R was on petrol so = 806 HP.

It's my understanding that the Veyron tested by EVO (privately owned) was without LC, but I'm not sure.
If anyone can verify that I'd be happy.

You have based this assumption on rather slow 0-60mph right ?

If so, I reckon that EVO time is actually not slow. American mags (road and track) use rollout, so you have to add 0,3s to have comparable time with EVO.

And as to AMS doing 0-100km/h in 2,5s (which would mean 0-60mph in 2,3-2,4s) they actually did not measure this time. They took official time, because they couldnt get a good launch due to bad conditions.

No, from memory it was mentioned in the article but I can't verify it as I don't have the magazine.

The Veyron ran a high 9 with Best Motoring but the figures were suspicious. 2.6s from 100-160kph.

    Got a link or scan?

Anyone with more performance figures for "interesting" cars?

I'm putting all this together into an Excel sheet that I will publish one day.

I thought the Bugatti was impressive until I looked at that Ford GT's figures. UNBELEIVEABLE. :MTM:

^The funny thing is that at the Moscow Mile a 1000hp Ford GT finished about 25mph higher than the GTR but in a slower time.

If true then the GTR covered the mile the quicker of the two which would explain why all awd car seem to do very well in 1/4mile runs yet post slower speeds then equivalent rwd cars of similar times.

Though that P800 is something else, what's been done to the gearbox to stand up to the amount of abuse it must be getting?

    Look at this.

And notice how far they have travelled... especially the Veyron.

IMO the first one over the finish line is the winner.

If the GT-R is the mini-Veyron I don't know what the new McLaren will be.

Specs looks very deadly and I think it will go like a rocket.

This is the fastest ever Veyron run but I've not seen these times repeated anywhere else. The 100-160kph time (2.4s) is dubiously fast especially since it's 2-up. Even the factory figures only quote 2.8s for 100-160kph and it usually scores around 3s.

    9.95s 0-400m. A quarter is 402.1m, so this is barely a 9 (9.98-9.99).

    Ford GT-1000 runs 350 km/h at the standing-mile... It's very quick!
It has fantastic acceleration after 300 km/h
GT-R and 911 Turbo are not competitors to Ford GT-100 and Veyron after 320 km/h

    0-402 m = 10,61 s

    0-320 km/h = 18,59 s
