    2.5TFSi - What's it's future?

Ever since I heard about this engine I wondered what future would it have inside the Audi brand. Is it conceivable that this engine is solely put to work in the TT/RS and possibly the RS3 if it appears or does it sound more believable that this engine will make it into other Audi cars (probably S and RS) in the future.
Search and you will find the truth.

I don't see any longitudinal front engine Audi future for it.
I can see it transverse mid mounted in a VW Bluesport R, or longitudinal mid mounted in a Audi R? or R8.
Beside that it will be in the near future in every hot transverse front engine layout, VW, Seat, Skoda.
The 2.5TFSi will have a big future as a VR6 replacement.

This engine would be perfect in a lightweight RS5 or even a normal spec RS5. Producing 450-470 hp should be possible, especially taking into account the Mitsubishi FQ 400 (UK) producing 400 hp and good torque from a 2.0 engine, coupled to manufacturer warranty.
