    Hi LU-RS6
Yes it sounds awesome, more like an aeroplane than a car,
a bit like the Mclaren Mercedes SLK, but better,
Its the only car that churnes my stomach on straight line acceleration ( around 4 second mark)

I see if you click on the thumbnail it opens into a bigger image.

    Cheers rslee

Hi Again, my vmax limiter has been removed, recalibration of engine ecu, gearbox adapted for higher torque, modified fuel injection, sports catalytic converter and full stainless exaust,
Oettinger say 300 km/h = 187mph, fastest i have gone was 175mph and it was still pulling very hard, I reckon 200mph is very possible.

    Whats this tour ?

Yes i checked the thread, my son used to race Karts and has been harping on for us to go to the ring and take the RS6 to see what it can do,
dont know if I could really make it, but its definatly worth considering,
I also have freinds in Holland and they have a factory in Belgium that I have to visit, so it may be possible to meet and travel some of the way.

Just got my Arvus/Ebony with exhaust and XM. Accoring to the VIN list it looks like Bmoney's old car. Any one have any history to share?

I still much prefer the the twin large ovals of the stock RS models to the quad pipes. In terms of design at least, i expect quads sound very nice... I love LU's exhaust, those ovals are huge and wish i could get that done on my car, especially with the painted black tips.

    Regards Dave

Dave, check with Milltek in the U.K., they'll be able to help you. It's the best investment I have ever made, makes a huge grin appear on my face everytime I accelerate. + as you noticed the tips are larger so they fit better IMO.

Want to change the Exhaust BUT:

Want to go Millteck cat back, Audi UK warranty say they can refuse a claim if you have fitted a non standard part or a performance enhancing part. The cat is not covered anyway and presumably they could only try and invoke the clause for a claim against an engine / turbo issue. The Millteck operates at a lower Back Pressure than the stock exhaust so should be easier on the gas flow. Millteck are sold World wide and they are specialists in their field.

Has anyone on the forum ever experienced a warranty problem because of a non standard exhaust?

Yo Barry, they are only covering their ass mate........there are plenty of RS6's which have had the Milltek Back Box and some which have also had the sports cats fitted too and I wager that none of their respective owners have had catastrophic failres of engines as a result of the Milltek systems, Milltek have long since done their extensive R&D to make sure of this....go on, you'll enjoy the experience and they are damn fine people to do business with too. I had the Cat back box fitted 3 weeks ago!!! DB
