very pleased with combo. they call it cognac here in Europe and is not standard but very nice to look at!
Awesome combo ZRS6... still drooling
I just thought i'd start a thread for owners to post pictures of their rides, and share ideas on what they done to their rides. Wheels, suspension set ups, bodykits etc. I will have some pics of my newly bought 2004/5 RS6 C5 when its been detailed.
Im currently trying to decide on what aftermarket rims to get. Im from Australia, so wheel choice is quite limited unless I special order them from the US or Europe. What offset should I run if Im going to go a 20inch wheel? 20x9 +36?
factory 19" oem Audi wheel offset is 19x9.5 +36.
you should start posting your RS6 i want to post mine but i don't have an RS6 yet

Pix from last summer.
Both cars have had mods since then: Tinted windows, tail lights and signals, OZ Ultraleggeras on the RS, Dymags on the R8. The R8's had all of the chrome, except for the quattro badge on the grill removed too.
An R8 and an RS6 in one garage: It doesn't get much better!
I have a friend who has an R8 in Melbourne, but I found my RS6 to be quicker. Do you find your RS6 quicker than your R8?
Ill have pics up shortly when I get it cleaned this weekend. After all.............I only got it on Wednesday hahaha.
Here you go!

RS6plus -- blue pack -- h&r suspension -- 20" rs6 c6 wheels -- fully loaded and wagner cooled !
Better pics to come with my DSLR, also KW Variant 3s installed and some 20inch HRE or DPEs hehehe. Same colour as yours GOOSELEG. I swear RS6's are not the most photogenic cars. But in the flesh, they are sexy as hell, and the guards and phatness needs to be witness in person. Do you guys agree?
2004/05 RS6 C5 Avus Silver 39,000km - RS6 plus brakes, APR Tune, Remus exhaust.... TO DO LIST :KW V3 to be installed and 20inch wheels.
Any of you A6,S6 or RS6 owners care to show me any wheel upgrades? Id love to see what you guys have, as I cant decide on going the OEM look in a 20inch, or go the DUB Euro look or "SoCal" look.... with DPE or HRE dished wheels. Im all the way in Melbourne Australia, so no issue with a duplicate RS6 on the road. hehe

Mov'it front and rear brake upgrade 380mm front, 342mm rear

Vacuum hose replaced with blue silicone
Intake pipes replaced with blue silicone hose

Hella dark tinted tail-lights
0 to 100 kmh (62 mph) they are pretty much neck and neck, with the nod to the RS. There are those perfect launches in the R8 (six speed manual) that are probably quicker than the RS, but in general I'd give the nod to the RS6.
From 100 kmh on up to about 160 kmh (60 - 100 mph) it's hard to say. The RS is brutal in it's delivery and coupled w/the auto transmission, it's a beast. Push the fun pedal to the floor, hear the revs rise, the tranny downshift and promptly get stuck back in the seat and feel the grin on my face get wider. (I need to get off my butt and put a Revo chip in it - 500 hp will be FUN).
To get a similar response while driving on the highway, I have to drop down to 3rd gear in the R8 and then shift as the engine bumps the rev limiter at about 150 kmh (93 mph). The delivery is silky smooth comparatively, so the overall feeling gives the nod to the RS6 again, but I can't say definitively as to which one is quicker.
Ironically, it's sort of fun having a four door sedan that's (possibly?) quicker than the sleek, sexy supercar.
Nobody ever bothers me at the light when I'm in the RS6, but man the idiots (every male under 25 years old that owns a Ford Mustang or a modified Acura - why do all their exhausts sound like Kazoos? ) abound when I'm in the R8.
OZ Ultraleggura in stock size w/Bridgestone sneakers. KW's and Hotchkiss bars on it too.
