I will have them up soon, getting the car detailed inside and out. A nice good cleaning. BTW, what's the best way to address a squeaky seat? The seat is not loose but sounds like it squeaking against the center consolby the em break. Should I just condition the leather so it's not so stiff?
Always looking out for new info....

Mine does that too. I either crank up the sound system or roll the windows down and listen to the engine. I'll put up pics of mine (Ebony/Black with sport exhaust and some terribly mucked up wheels ) once the wheel well dent is repaired and she's detailed.

I believe some members posted that putting a piece of soft fabric between the seat and the armrest will do the trick.

RS6, with MTM stage 3 mods done by Hoppen in Sarasota, new 19'' Bitomo wheels, with PS2s. Daytona Grey, with white interior. Bought Oct 2006, modified, then delivered Feb. 2007, tracked Aug 2007 for first time.
Here is info on the mods, Hoppen says HP is about 568 bhp. I need to run the 0-60 accurately, but she's under 4, for sure.
    1) MTM performance engine management software
    2) MTM performance transmission software
    3) ITG high flow foam air filters
    4) MTM stainless downpipes with high flow cats
    5) MTM stainless center resonator
    6) MTM stainless rear mufflers with bypass valves & 4 tips
    7) Rear lattice for 4 tip exhaust
    8) Electronics for the exhaust bypass valves
    9) Bosch Motorsport 5.0 bar fuel pressure regulator
    10) Bosch high volume fuel pump & holder
    11) MTM/KKK modified turbochargers
    12) Modified turbo air ducts
    13) MTM high pressure silicon hose set
    14) NGK cold platinum spark plug set
    Pics to come ...

    What a beast!

I just hope the tiptronic will hold all the power. How much Nm you got?

LU-RS6: that's a good question - I don't know what the new torque numbers are. I will try and find out. I was worried about about how the transmission would handle it, so I quizzed the tuner pretty hard about this issue (after reading about it on the forum). He assured me that he has never had problems in the past after many installations, and many track hours. I only spent a few hours on the track and it worked flawlessly. And I drive it pretty hard otherwise, and so far (only 6 months) not even the inkling of a problem.

The Nm is 770 (up from 560), according to MTM wesite - not Dyno'ed

If it's MTM who told you that, then they told something different to me

I'm at 524.9 BHP and 741Nm with mine....when I was at MTM for my RS6 I asked them whether it could cause a problem with the tiptronic, they said "you have to have some luck".
Also depends how you drive your car I guess...I drive in manual mode pretty much all the time to prevent the gearbox from shifting too much for example.

Anyway, it's a good thing that MTM also reprograms the tiptronic. I can feel in first gear that something is holding back... I'd rather drive 0.5s slower and lengthen the life of the gearbox with 100.000 kms

    My times are 0-100 km/h in 4,4s and just below 16s to 200 km/h.

It was the MTM tuner shop here in the USA (Hoppen Motorsports, in Florida) who told me about the transmission and the HP figures, and the MTM German website where I got the Nm figures. Look under 'Details' for the fourth conversion kit listed below:

    http://www.mtm-online.de/en/index.ph...3&FZID=RS6331Q

Apparently, MTM just came out with a 'new' new set of Turbos for the car, not the same ones they used over the last few years. I think I got one of the first of the new version.

I'm suffering quite some difficulties with the hose from the intercooler to the turbo...it came off again today at the Ring, luckily I was able to safely tighten it again quickly so nothing serious happened. I'll have to pay a visit to MTM to have it fixed, because it is starting to get on my nerves.

It's a real price for any tuning...
You never have to think that it will be absolutely reliable.
