i thought 'the beast' was the E55!!
Well from what I understand E39 M owners have been calling their cars the beast long before MB marketing got their hands on it. BMW missed an opportunity there. So I think the term has been passed around

    One More to Count

    One more RS6

Another newbie to the board (well, three weeks actually). It's an excellent resource and I have appreciated the information gathered to date.

I've got Ebony Pearl, black interior with off white piping, sound enhancing exhaust, wood inlay, bose, XM (no nav, no summer).
    I debadged (personal preference).

I've driven it about 8 days and every day I find something new about this car that makes me love it even more. Man... only problem is that it needs more open road than we have here around Boston.

Welcome to the board.....are you past break in yet....if not that is when the real fun starts. Also, I noticed after about 7 k to 8k miles the car found some more power and transmission was smoother.

    Cheers

Congrats on the new ride.....treat her nice the first few thousand and she will only get better. At about 4500 to 5000 mine seemed to have found more power and tranmssion was smoother.

    Congrats on the purchase.
How many RS6's are left at Barrier?

I'm over in Kirkland with a Daytona Gray RS6 I bought at Barrier last August. We have at least four from the area in this forum now. Time for a meet!

I believe they have two Daytona Gray's left at Barrier (nearly went for gray but figured silver would be easier to keep clean). There is also a very nice Muguello Blue RS 6 at University Audi with about 1,300 miles.

I think its the opposite Gray is easier to clean then silver ( silver is much lighter espcially Avus) I think the Daytona grey is eiser to clean.

    Welcome and Enjoy youre car

the Avus silver is a very nice color it has a light blue sparkle.

yeah baby.. now its fun. So, you guys think she smooths out as you get to 4K plus? The only thing that bums me out right now is that a ton of folks flash me at night cause they think I've got my brights on.. anybody else get that?

Anyway, thru breakin and starting to ride the beast a bit..

Chewy, it was me that was redundant

    Sorry Chewy..

I was the one providing useless babble. It's just a little pieve of mine about the lamps cause I don't like getting flashed by oncoming traffic all the time, especially when I know their thinking, "you prick with the high beams on!"..
