Guys, fantastic cars !
WELCOME ABOARD !
Hello everyone,
I just bought a low mileage RS6 back in July around the 18th or so. I had to fly out to Chicago to get it and they met me at the airport. I heard it coming before I saw it. I drove it back to Jersey(near the George Washington Bridge). It had 9,200 miles on it. I met up with a corvette in ohio. It looked like a 2002 to 2004 model. I pulled up on it. It had GA plates, with a guy and his girl in it. I was hitting the pedal, making the beast jump. He looked and I guess he did not like that to much. We were running about seventy. He dropped gears and the anticipation to see what the Beast was going to do was almost to much too much to bear. I hit the throttle and pulled away. I only got to 130 and he dropped off so I slowed down and decided to just "chill". As I looked in my rear view I saw him coming up. But this time he started playing with me(maybe he thought the first time was a fluke). I could see him and his girl looking at me, so I gave him the thumbs up. We hit and again I pulled away relatively with little effort but this time I got to 145mph. He did not come up on me after that. Anyway, I wanted to know what type of up grades can I get. I learned from the dealership that I have a turbo cut off already on it. I am not for sure exactly what this do. However, one of the rubber hoses that sucks air has broken off so and I am not for sure what I should do. Any suggestions as you can see, I am a rookie at this.
Welcome, to you and your ''beast''.
Nice to hear that you discovered it's magic on your very first drive.
There are ''tons'' of mod's that you can do to your car, just stay ''tuned'' and enjoy.
P.S.
Pic's are MUST, so, we are expecting your next post to be more than just words!
WELCOME
Ditto.
Yes, too many mods to list in one post. What specifically are you looking into? Suspension, turbos, exhausts, brakes, simple chip upgrade, etc? It really depends on what you're looking to achieve, cosmetic or performance?
As for the rubber hose, is your car a CPO? If so, a trip to the dealer is in order.

Like I said, I am a rookie so you definitely going to have to break it down in slow dummy terms. Anyway, the hose has something to do with the after market turbo cut offs that are on it. There are two off them under the first casing in the enginee hood. One of the hoses are there. At the ente it has an L shaped piece that is in the after market part. Today when I get home from work I will take a picture of it and put it on here and maybe that will help you guys out in helping me. Also, I will take some snaps of the beast.
I'm sorry. My bad. CPO stands for "Certified Pre-Owned". Most manufactures offer it. Toyota really was the one who got the ball rolling.
Yes, pics help. And I'm thinking if your car has aftermarket items on it, it may not be CPO'd.

Stock, 46K miles with Nav, cold weather package, OEM sport enhanced exhaust.
Coming soon - Pro-Clip Cell holder (Treo 700p), window tint, Dension Ice-Link Audi OEM iPOD interface some dor to fo chip once I decide what is best without destroying the transmission... maybe nothing as this is plenty of power for a daily driver!
Oh yeah, $5 Pep-Boys cupholder. Had one of these adjustable cup holders installed in my E39 530i and it worked great. Installs with velcro to a flat area.
And I finally got around to getting some decent photos of my Mugello Blue beauty to add to this thread.
I have been on here for a while, so the pics are way overdue. Same can be said for the install of the Abt 19 inch wheels (maybe next spring), the Hotchkis bars front and rear, and the RNS-E nav system (not yet purchased).
Anyway, here they are.
They are too big for attaching, so I have sent a link to Shutterfly where you can view them.

Gregoryindiana, also
I have attached a couple of pictures of the beast. Sorry, the dig camera is not the high of quality and it definitely does not do the beast justice(So I have been told). I also took a snap of the turbo cut offs that I was talking about. You can see were one line is not hook up to the after market part(hopefully you can see) I really hope someone can tell me more about exactly what it is, what it does, and what I need to do to fix it. The dealership will not touch it because it is after market. They just want to put originals back on(400 dollars). However, if someone knows about the performance help me out I will keep them. The part are blue and you will see the left side has the hose that is not inside due to a small L shaped rubber connection peice that somehow came off.
