RS6 - front bumper conversion to new style

Has anyone known of anyone doing the Hofele front bumper conversion for the RS6? The site says they have it to convert to the new A6 style bumper. Looks pretty good. I think I still like the idea of Headshots lower bumper add ons but this is interesting. I search in the forums and only saw a reference in 2006 but they didnt have the A6/RS6 then.

ya, someone posted that before, I dunno, as I've stated before, I personally prefer our bumper style though I do know that there are those who do prefer to facelift their RS6 a bit.

I love my car but to keep it fresh ever few years is not a bad thing either. I did that in 06 with the RNS-E. In 08 with the Revo. And I am staring 09 with Wheels and Tires. Feels like a new car. Nothing else out there to compare to the Beast.

I don't think I could live with my hood and grille protruding 6 inches past my headlamps. And mudding that extension onto the hood? Bad news.

I don't like, don't think its a good idea,, I always prefer to stick with original body desgin,,maybe some add-ons like a lip/diffuser..etc but not whole front!

The wide-angle shots I've seen look unbalanced on the saloon, as the front end of the car becomes so long and the back remains stubby by comparison. I'm not sure about the avant, as I haven't seen any good shots of one.

You know you are right the is something weird about the bumper area like it is stretched. I think headshots lips are the way to go. I have always through the lower spoiler comes back a little too far. The lip/diffuser for me seems to be the way to go.

Bumper conversion looks tacky IMO. Stick with the diffuser.
