    Audi S8 or Audi W12

    Wich car is sportier ? Wich is more powerfull ? Wich people are buying the W12 version and who the S8 ?

    What would you take and why ?

    (Just thought about that cause last time i watched Transporter 2 and have to say OMG the W12 is a piece of art...and my neighbour is driving the new S8 wich is also a beauty....but i think the W12 badge in the grill just has so much sex)

    S8 only.
    W12 is obsolete.
    Next A8 won't have W12 for may reasons - it's obsolete!
    Next S will have 620hp with 5.0TFSI from RS6.

    But S8 is much sportier and better package in current MY.

    W12 is a stealth weapon. Excellent for cruising on Highway. Very high end. Very confortable

    S8 is very sporty, it is a gallardo with four doors. noise is much better than W12.

    I once said, and many agreed, that in the S8 the owner sits front left, and in the W12 the owner is back right...

    VERY TRUE,, I been sitting in the front left at the W12 for a year ,,, not as a driver ,, as an owner LOOL It is an amazingggggg luxury car.

    I drove once a W12. I loved it. Very torquey. Amazing engine !!!!

    Ya, I wouldn't go as far as to say don't get the W12, but it is definitely thecar to be driven in rather than the car to drive. So, to answer your question, the S8 is sportier but both are amazing cars.

    W12 in A8L guise is certainly a fast luxury car. As an SWB A8, it's geared lower (final drive changed) and has harder suspension, so it's a better sprinter and backroad blaster. I always thought the SWB W12 was a fill-in until the D3 S8 arrived, and I was about right - the SWB got dropped after the S8 launched.

    The S8 handles far better - less nose weight, firmer suspension bushings & programming (AFAIK), and more direct steering.

    The SWB W12 is slightly faster above a certain speed (more torque) IMHO.
