What about the 'MILE HIGH' club, are you a member of that yet Erik?

All of my FI rides run strong through the winter months. When the roads are dry and clear I pull out the Buick and Acura and blast them for a few km's down the main freeway to keep everything lubbed up and the battery charged. Regardless of how nice of an intercooler system you have on the car, the winter temps are unbeatable. Wish I could mimic them during the warmer summer months.

Just wanted to flick in with something, no pics I'm afraid.

But when we reached Hemsedal in Norway last Sunday the old Audi 80 2.6 had to stand with -25 celcius. Wen't one like a clock!

Resurecting this thread. Have NOT located a power cord to plug the engines block heater in. -30C here tonight and not eager to keep relying on just a strong battery and synthetic to get things going in the morning. Anyone living in cold areas that have "true" winters, can you please chime in and let me know what you do for cold weather starts?

    Bruce,

    Did you hear?

C02 is "dangerous" to your health and must be regulated.

We will never see another RS6 on this soil.

    Enjoy your new ride.

Well for you northern hemisphere continentals, us Antipodeans are (as I write this) sitting on the deck in the evening SUMMER sun, sipping a nice glass of red in a balmy 23C, contemplating what to go on the barbie

    That is cool!

I see my last post in this thread was just after I visited Norway last year. Was there two weeks ago as well, but only -22 this time.
