hes selling an r8 and two rs4's also. i wonder what happened that he has to let everything go..
damn, bummer. good buy for JBT though. 85 miles, thats awesome. im sure he put on more than that already though.
Trying to find a damn shipping company to get the car from portland to dallas... I dont know what it is about that part of the country, but I have never had this much trouble using my regular sources -- Intercity, Demoise, Horseless Carriage, etc... none of them will deliver from there.
Worse case, I will use FEDEX Custom Critical/Passport, which is supposed to be ok...but I worry not as careful/persnickity as the smaller companies.
Car will be shipped directly to the local dealer for new tires, full check up, etc.
I bought new Michelin PS2s based on my research on this site (thank you) and just purchased a new in the box RNS-E Nav unit... let the upgrades begin![]()
Why not get some new shoes in Portland and just drive it home? I don't think I could resist.
Great question.... I considered this, but -
1) Without having read the manual yet, I suspect engine break-in is best accomplished in a variety of driving patterns -- different gears, RPMs, speeds, etc.... vs. just crusing on highway for 2000 miles
2) The car doesnt have a clear bra and I would like to have one installed prior to driving it extensively
While we are talking about people that have a near new RS6, coincedently there is a near identical topic of discussion on the M5board. People with simply TOOO much money and no idea what they really need to do with it all.

with the RS6 85 mile car, I budgeted for new tires, transport, and confirmed that the warranty was good through 2014... if a car this old with no miles didnt have the warranty, you would definitely want to budget for and buy one... stating the obvious
