    Audi 80 Competition

Thanks to 2 good friends of mine I am now the proud owner of an Audi 80 Competition.
Originally only 2.500 were built as it is an homologation model for the DTM edition below.

Power of this car has been decreased to 140 BHP, from a 2 liter 16 valve. A fairly big margin for power increase thus is available.
The steering is simply amazing: the way you can point the nose into the bends and stick to your line is magnificent. Overall of the suspension is remarkably positive: body-roll is almost non-existent, whilst it is still comfortable enough when driving on rough terrain.

    Not bad.
It is a sleeper. It looks like a regular B4 except for the S2 bumpers, so nothing that spectacular.

    Congratulations!
I hope you enjoy the car

btw: Does that Audi have a lot of km/miles on it? The few that are for sale here are mostly 150K+ kms.

Exactly, altough is it not really fast enough in a straight line to call it a sleeper, IMO

Apart from the S2 bumpers it also has the V6 headlights.

Thanks! Yes, it will not be easy to find one with low mileage. This one has about 170K on the clock. But don't be fooled by mileage: it is much more important how it was treated.

Handlingwise simply one of the best cars i've driven

It's no normal Competition of course with Koni adjustable dampers, OMP strutbrace, S2 brakes with dot 5.1 oil, and airducts from bumper to brakes. Ideal trackday car.

the way you can make it change direction is really amazing!

In fact it was a German ADAC STW and Italian Superturismo touringcar "not" DTM.

In those day's the DTM was named in ITC without Audi taking part.

btw, if that car of yours is complete there must be 2 extention for the rearspoiler and a front splitter in the boot.

    Jarod.

In the Netherlands they where included (tree black plastic parts) in the boot, but almost no one put them on.

Took her to the track yesterday. Amazing how this thing steers through chicanes, ridiculously fast almost for a 4door sedan. On the straights I'm missing some power though, but we are on that already

In race trim this car had 280 hp out of that 2.0 litre atmo engine.
