Exclamation DRC ... Change for what ?

    Hi everybody,

My DRC is broken, and i'd like to have your opinion about another systeme :

    Bilstein PSS9 ?
    KW kit ?
    H&R kit ?

Or I try to change with another DRC ...

    Thanks for your answer.

    Best regards.

Drew, how much installed? And how does that affect the warranty situation?

Try this for a comparison. Don't rule out the Stassis/Ohlins set-up.

    Drc

Had my complete DRC changed under warranty last summer under warranty at 40,000 miles; am at 46,600 miles now and DRC failing again. Dealer is 1 1/2 hours away and at this point think I would rather change to different shock rather than continue to keep doing this fix of DRC for only 6,000 mile a fix. Warranty over next August anyway. Good luck.

    Great Article!

The only thing i think was missing was how the pressure was released from the existing DRC system? Unless the shocks were already leaking and/or the pressure was completely released from all shocks, it WOULD take two guys with a pipe-like crowbar....

When mine were changed out he got a dribble from one side and nothing from the other...completely dry. He said he was doing the "head turned sidways, one eye closed and the other squinting" thing waiting to get doused.

Even on a good system there is only a small "squirt" , but does take a bit of time to drain it all out. grizz
