Top speed runs at Nardo - MTM bimoto & RS4

In Auto Motor Sport 23 2002 there's an article about the top speed runs done at Nardo.
It is an upside down world when the tuner MTM participates with their bimoto TT and their RS4 Avant and leaves tuned Ferrari 360s and Brabus behind.
Interesting to see that they seem to be running on quite 'normal' tyres like the P Zero Rosso and Dunlops.

    MTM Bimoto :king:
    0 - 100 3,6 sec
    0 - 200 10,0 sec
    0 - 300 23,2 sec
    Top speed 371 km/h

    MTM RS4 Avant

    0 - 100 4,0 sec
    0 - 200 12,4 sec
    0 - 300 37,5 sec

    Top speed 327 km/h

    MB E 55 2003

    0 - 100 4,6 sec
    0 - 200 14,9 sec
    0 - 300 ???

    Top speed about 300 km/h.

Normal cars don't usually have start buttons. Some sport cars have one. The bimoto has two

    The Bimoto

It sure is an impressive car! It probably took a "couple" of testruns before they got it all working properly

But as I wrote before, I wouldnt like to sit in a TT at 371 Km/h

    Kind Regards /Nicke

Well, what can you say... Those crazy MTM:ers don't know when to stop! :MTM: Quite a bit like Mr. Dahlbäck...
Although, I'm quite happy they don't.
Those prices, are they exclusive the car? 360'000 Euros for a Bimoto TT, ouch!

    bimoto ;)

If I had 360.000 euros to spare I'd buy bimoto at once. I've talked to polish MTM division (while chiptuning some of our company's Octavias 1.8T) and he said that bimoto is not describable with normal words. You just have to try it. It's a pity that only one exist..
    if you have a rotten, unloved Audi RS2 or a Mazda 323 GT-R - drop me a line :)
