Euro license plate tray

Some time ago i had purchased a European rear license plate tray but i seems not to be able to fit the standard plate size ( 110mm high x 520 mm wide or 4.38 inches high x 20.44 inches wide ) is there any rear trays that fit the larger plate inside or do i have to get a smaller plate.

The reason I ask is because my friend got me a set of authentic plates from Germany and i would like to put them on at shows and events but i cant fit the rear

I understand that my friend I have had my US plate in there for about 6 months but the issue I am having is getting the standard euro plate to fit inside of it.

is there maybe different size euro plate trays for the C5 chassis cars?


BTW my plate tub/tray was bought from german e-bay
