It looks great !
I think that this car is going to be big hit !
Is there going to be two versions, saloon and Avant... ?
i hope it will be avaible just for avant. saloon is silly.
If an A4 Allroad isn't an option could it be a testmule for the Q5 drivetrain?
why do you need the testmule for Q5 if there is working version of car... there are some spyshots..
Maybe BMW is better than Mercedes or Mercedes is better than BMW but there is one car which better then both of them together... 25 years quattro..AUDI
past: Nissan Micra K11 1.3 16 valve;
BMW 325 1995 192hp(stock) Chip tuning up to 207hp.
Present: Audi A4 2.8L V6 237hp (intercooling system, injection, chip tuning)
Why? The Q5 and Q3 are sufficient. Audi sometimes does weird model releases to questions nobody asked? Like the Audi Crossover Cabriolet Quattro(hmm?) Audi should have just brought over the RS6 Avant to the LA Auto Show for the Wow! factor and should have dedicated a special area (format) for its RS/S quattro GmbH performance line with new models and historic models placed next them the way Mercedes-Benz adds the AMG section at the show. Audi always underperforms at the LA Auto Show which is strange as Southern California is one their highest performing markets. I guess another normal day at Audi of America's marketing and public relations department. I really hope someone from their organization reads this so they can get a clue already! Also, bring some historic vehicles to the display to show your 100 year racing and premium history. Show more heritage Audi at the show. Americans are totally unaware of it.
Sorry, had to rant...
"Four Rings to Rule Them All - Audi"
It wouldn't make sense to bring a car that they won't sell in the US. (RS6 Avant)
If it is a Audi A4 Allroad Sedan it won't sell in the U.S! Here Sedans(Saloon) outsell Wagons by a landslide. BUT... Subaru had the same thinking a few years ago with a Legacy Outback Sedan... Let's just say it died quick! When people think outdoors/multifunction vehicle it's not a sedan it's a crossover/SUV/Wagon.
Now if it was a A4 Avant Allroad, that would make more sense.
I think it would work here in the UK. The A4 Avant is extremely popular, and both the current and previous allroads have been successful. However, potential buyers of this sort of 'crossover' vehicle (of whom there are many) don't always want an A6 sized vehicle.
