RS4 vs M3 vs C63 on Top Gear on Sunday Dec 23

I found it off of a BMW forum, and thought i should share it with you guys
Here is the whole list of what they are going to do in that episode.

Richard builds himself the best radio-controlled car in the world, while James takes a considered look at the car designed to drag Jaguar kicking and screaming into the 21st century - the XF.

And, with it being our last show of 2007, it wouldn't be complete without the massively influential Top Gear Awards.

I can't see anything other than a split decision.

But if this is not the case then personally I reckon they will put the C63 first as it's hard not to be won over by all of that power.

P.S.

On a lighter note, does anyone have an idea as to which each will be backing (driving).

My money is on JC driving the Merc.

Yes, but his title is still, CAPTAIN SLOW... I think that they are going to switch around and end up loving the totaly opposite car from the one they started in...

This will be the of the better shows...

I kinda see Richard in the M3, because of the looks and the image of the beemer. I'd like to see captain slow in the most powerfull car - the AMG because of the fancy cool image the Merc is trying to make. And then Jeremy in the RS4 because he loved it...

Maybe the show will start with him driving the RS4 and saying something like "this was the king of V8's in the last few years, now these 2 have come, let's se what's what..."

I agree, Hamster is the most logical choice to put in the M3, in the last comparison test with a BMW in the mix Richard drove it and he currently drives another focused sportscar (Carrera S) so I reckon you all will be right picking Richard with the M3.

I love the idea of Captain Slow in the fastest car there, it just makes me laugh. And I hope JC is in the Audi as he is the boss and as such he has 3 votes to Hamster's and May's 1.

Yes and I also remember Hamster looking :bigeyes: at Jeremy when JC said that the RS4 is better than the M3. Hamster is definitely a M3 fan or as you said more attracted by "more focused/driver cars"

My bet is : JC/RS4, Hamster/M3, Captain slow/C63

Apparently the result been leaked

"The results are no one clear winner but it they decide as follows:

Clarkson chooses the AMG C63 as the winner - for it's sheer grunt.
James May chooses the RS4 for it's discretion
Richard Hammon chooses the M3 for it's interaction

The AMG 63 wins the drag (shock horror), M3 2nd, RS4 3rd
The RS4 again comes last round the track , but not sure which won out of the M3 & AMG.
