My guess is that Lamborghini marketing had a conniption when Herr Dr. Peich decided to stick a Bugatti badge on his little engineering exercise, that became the veyron. Big brothers don't like it when the red-headed stepchild of the family gets all the attention.
My guess is that they'll stick the veyron guts inside a Lambo body, and give a British salute to Ferrari, in a way that Ferruccio never quite managed.

What a gimmick!!!! Looks like an uglified LP640. Carrera GT would still probably be a better car. Not to mention you can get a McLaren F1 for that money. Personally, I'd get a LP640 roadster and a 430Scud and keep the change.
