What music do you listen to? (fill in)

Whay type of music do you like?
I like most music. Everything from Pink Floyd to trance and techno.

Here's what I can recommend, Richard Ashcroft - the strong man of what used to be The Verve.

What kind of music can you recommend?

I always listen to Joe Satriani, the god of the guitar.
And also Stu Hamm, the god of the bass.
Dire Straits, Flaming Lips, Metallica, Steve Vai, Pink Floyd and Dream Theater.

If you like guitar music, then try listening to Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, there are also other great guitarists, like John Petrucci, Eric Clapton and so on.

And if you like to listen to more rarely heard music, then listen to Flaming Lips and Stu Hamm.

For those who don't know Joe Satriani, and like the acoustic guitar, should try to listen to his music. He has released 14 albums, and was the first instrumental only artist to make it to the top 50 on the Billboard list ever.
His music is mostly rock and blues, for those who wan't to listen to his music, or know more about him should go to www.satriani.com and check him out!

Flaming Lips is a band that is best known by there strange lyrics, and weird music. But all in all they are a great band, with great music, that can be addicting.

    Good listening!

Well, I can agree with darkseid about a couple of things, like Stu Hamm. He is incredible on the bass! A maniac! Try to get your hands on a bass solo by him and I bet you won't be dissapointed!

My other influences (and other kick ass bands ):
Metallica, System Of a Down (really different metal), Ossy Osbourne :king:. Also more classic hard rock like Mötley Crüe, Guns 'n' Roses, Deep Purple. No Doubts earlier records (not the rap-crap the've released now..)

A couple of good Swedish acts are: Freak Kitchen (a bit funny and ironic band but hey, they ROCK), Backyard Babies and of course The Hellacopters.

And a bunch more that just don't write... And yes, I like music!

For those relaxing moments the Café del Mar serie is perfect.
Café del Mar is a café at Ibiza who releases an CD every year with the best music from their DJ's and various artists.
They are so good I've even put copys of my cds in the stereo at my restaurant.

Pink Floyd is good. Porcupine Tree as well if you like that type of music.

Delerium is not bad, especially their last 2 albums.

Brothers in arms, U2, Buddah Bar...too many to list.

If you like Trance download these: http://213.100.164.204:20002/mixes.html
