Finally decided to switch to the summer shoes for the beast - the stock wheels have had snow tires on them ( for trips into the mountains where the highway patrol can require either AWD with snow tires or chains).
So here are the attached pics of the new 19" SSR's with PS2's - much lighter set up
Of course with good news comes bad news - as I was swapping the tires, I noticed a nice dark ring around two of the shocks - about 2 inches or so - looked like dirt and oil mixed together - leaking shocks
The car still handles fine and there are no "clunks" yet so for now I will just drive and see what happens - rather than start fighting with the dealer about getting it fixed - car still has another year on factory warranty.
Any thoughts ?
