S8 loses it after turn one at Mosport (aftermath)

    Happened a few weeks ago.

    http://www.vsocial.com/video/?d=50215

Turn one is a fast right hand sweeper, looks like the S8 got in a little too hot and went off, hit the wall, spun around and smacked the rear against the wall. Fortunately the car did what it was suppose to do (structurally-wise) and everybody was okay from what I know.

Nice to hear that every one was okay. The guy who recorded it seemed to be just perfect...he even had a strange sense of humor...

    Cheers,

    Javier

Was this an Audi experient day, if so then this might explain his sense of humor, it isn't his car

Audi had a dealer day showing them the RS4, S6 and S8. McNish and Capello were there flogging the RS4 and the brand specialists were allowed to drive the S6 and S8. Sounds like the only others that were allowed to drive the RS4 was the guys from the Panoz driving school there. An Audi brand specialist was driving the S8 at the time of this accident.

Friggin' journalists. They really need to have lessons in driving before letting them loose like that. Animals!

Sales person wrote off the car, not a journalist.
