Ferrari F430 vs. Lamborghini Gallardo

I would probably pick the Gallardo over the F430 too but isn't the F430 quite a bit faster than the Gallardo?

I think the 430 is .3 faster to 60. I would take Gallardo over the 430 but I'd take the 430 stradale over the Gallardo.

This months EVO suggest that there will be an updated version of the Gallardo. Also, there is talk of the lightweight, SV rear wheel drive version....This should defo be worth the wait!!

very hard pic indeed but I would go for the F430 for its bestiality, the brand prestige, the sound.

Of course you better know hoe to drive the F430 as it is hard core whereas the Lamob (which I also love) will offer the quattro which is great extra safety.

No joking aside, I don't think I would pick either of them, their a bit to showy for me. But if you were to ask me which I thought was the better car, well than I would have to say the F430. Much as I like the look of the current Lamborghinis, you can't get pass the heritage of the Ferrari name and the fact that it will at present give you a better return on your money.

Now if the choice was between the 997Turbo and the F430, it would be the Porsche in a heart beat. Both have equally as good a heritage and both hold their money as well, but even though the Ferrari is the quicker, it not the better car.

I reckon if the Audi can equal the driving experience of the Porsche and when the V10 is release, equals it's performance then I reckon Audi will be the new people's champion. There will still be people out there that see it as a cheap fake of a real supercar and all I will say to them is, snobs in the blue corner, realists in the red corner, now I want a good clean fight, ready on the bell and come out fighting.

I would have to say Lambo, why? mainly because I always wanted a Lambo...since I was a kid...Lambo has been for me that manufacturer wich not many people know about, sort of understated. That's the reason why I would blindly choose the Lambo over the Ferrari.

Of course...if I ever get the chance to buy such an outstanding piece of Italian engineering.

Now if you'd put the R8 on that poll...different story... and I would have definetely gone for that choice.

I reason why I would choose a R8 over the others is the same reason why I picked the S4 over the M3. I like to be different, everyone sees the M3 as the logical choice, but me I always like people not know the difference between my S4 and an ordinary A4. I see the R8 as the unknown, people will like the look but not know what it is and underestimate it's abilities, silly them. Just like the man in the 330i M Sport the other day.

f430 has many advantages over gallardo

-much better engine derived from enzo
-lightweight
-RWD is lots of fun to drive + AWD means more and more power loss
-f1 gearbox far better than e-gear
-much better chassis and driving dynamics vs..
-superb launch control derived from f1 team

Easy pick:
The Lamborghini Gallardo
- it's AWD - You get a lot of grip even in the rain
If you try to drive the F430 in the rain unless you are a pro you'll end up in a ditch with 4 meters of metal tube up you nose or in a really big tree or a big fireball...
Besides the lambo looks a lot better than the F430.
And in the F430 you can't use every day where you can with th gallardo
because it's so tiny and easy to see out of but unlike any other car this car will
amaze you every day...
