Got my new Custom Eurocharged tune installed.

Well, it definitely Boosts. I got to see around 20~22psi net total boost, a bit much you think, so did the ECU. It started to go into a temporary limp mode which sometimes throttle off to throttle on would solve.
When I got home I pulled the P1555 Maximum limit Exceeded - Intermittent code, cleared it and did some logs to get the Boost shown above and also show the limp mode. Anyone familiar with this and what to see on the logs besides the cut in Boost? The O2 sensors looked good throughout the Boosting. When it went into limp the throttle angle showed a big cut (50%) along with the Boost, although the MAF g/s showed the normal max of 364.08 until I actually let off the throttle? Any chance my throttle valve is bad or is this part of how and overboost condition is handled? I thought that Boost, through the Wastegates and Timing were the two ways it was controlled? I have a couple of logs if anyone feels like looking at them and could E-mail them as it seems cutting & pasting them to a doc and posting them in a decent format on the forum is and art.
I sent my logs and fault code to Jerry at Eurocharge and figure he'll update the software and get me a new copy soon. Maybe he didn't take into account my Milltek Catless downpipes & Wagners? I would think that the Downpipes would only allow quicker spooling but not have anything to do with an Overboost? Wagners? (denser charge with better cooling but it is warm here in the Pacific NW for now (80'F/27'C). hahnmgh@yahoo.com

P.S. The Custom part of the coding was not only removing the codes from have the Catless Milltek's but also from the SAI system which I completely removed last year when I had my engine out (only threw a SAI code after 3~5 drives). But after one roundtrip to work (60 miles), so far so good on the codes.

Overboost will cause the throttle cut. I don't think either the DP's or the wagners would contribute to this. I would love to see the logs. Sending email.

Way too much boost eh, the ko4s are small and run out quick at 18-19. Sorry to hear it's not smooth, please send me the logs also. I want to see what the fuel is doing

Really looking forward to the dyno in pdx next month, I believe the Revo is throwing down a lot of power.

    lswing,
Where are you getting dynos from in pdx? I live here as well and am curious about what I'm outputting.

I have an older Eurocharge tune but have not experienced any of this with some special stuff for my 02 sensors. Mine doesn't feel the quickest but it doesn't go into limp all the time (I don't think).

I don't have a good place for logging but I am heading to Portland next weekend and can stop by for you to give it a go if you want.

I got another flash from Eurocharged and now the SAI faults seem to be completely taken care of but I am still overboosting. I've checked (Vagcom logged) and even swapped the N75 but the same results. and for those that say the RS6 K04's can't boost that much I say they're full of it. I am getting the overboost at a constant absolute of 2540mb which is a little more than 22 psi net, and I've found out that the limit for our pressure sensor is 2540mb's so I may be boosting even further. Maybe the Scroll Turbos do even better than stock. I'm going back out to check my hoses again but I know the hoses to the Wastegates are fine. All was fine with the REVO, just the fault codes for the Cats & SAI system.

Hope that gets sorted man, tough when the car isn't behaving. It's got to be the tune, or really random issue. From those logs I swear they are requesting way too much early boost. I know for sure my Scroll turbos are stronger with the increased shaft and oil flow. Don't they still taper off at the high end though? I'll do more logging

Going to Cobb in PDX for the dyno and tuner advice, $200 per hour, I will know just what this beast makes finally! Currently I say fast as all hell!

I'm wondering if the N75 can't keep up with the onset of Boost from the newer rebuilt Scroll Turbos along with the Eurocharged tune? I've swapped the N75 but no luck and the logs seem to show that it (N75) is working fine but can't seem to bleed control the Wastegates fast enough??? They do have the "Boost Valves" which can be used in parallel with the N75 to bleeed Boost in this case if it is really the problem. The Requested Boost does peak while the actual keeps going up?

Have you tried the car on a stock tune?

I would say its a N75 or waste gate issue. What did scroll set the WG actuators at?

I don't remember my Wastegate settings but I'll check and see if my receipt from Scroll last year shows them or not, if not I'll send them an E-mail. I did replace my N75 with my old one that I thought was good but lo & behold my new one just showed up in the mail so i guess another drive & log this afternoon. Thankfully I can do logs just down the street so I can be out & back in 10 minutes. If things still aren't good I'll start with every hose one hose at a time until I figure it out.

Did you make sure the wg doors operated freely before installing the turbos? Did the turbo reman folks make 100% sure the wg's were in full working order while bench testing the turbos?

The turbos have been on the car for a while, he just switched the tune. And if he had the stock rebuild from Scroll they would be set stock. I had the impeller upgrade done, but that's all.

I was actually speaking to the OP. Also a quick note to hahn....you had the REVO before. Did you run the REVO after you installed the engine/trans with the new turbos? That may answer the wg concern

It could definitely be the tune, my Unitronic tune was requesting 4 lbs less than was being delivered. Detonation was bad, and it was going into limp mode after one pull. I checked everything, pressure tested the system, and it ended up being the tune. Once I switched to stock, no problems, and now Eurocharged without pinging but the car is underpowered.
