Well, it definitely Boosts. I got to see around 20~22psi net total boost, a bit much you think, so did the ECU. It started to go into a temporary limp mode which sometimes throttle off to throttle on would solve.
When I got home I pulled the P1555 Maximum limit Exceeded - Intermittent code, cleared it and did some logs to get the Boost shown above and also show the limp mode. Anyone familiar with this and what to see on the logs besides the cut in Boost? The O2 sensors looked good throughout the Boosting. When it went into limp the throttle angle showed a big cut (50%) along with the Boost, although the MAF g/s showed the normal max of 364.08 until I actually let off the throttle? Any chance my throttle valve is bad or is this part of how and overboost condition is handled? I thought that Boost, through the Wastegates and Timing were the two ways it was controlled? I have a couple of logs if anyone feels like looking at them and could E-mail them as it seems cutting & pasting them to a doc and posting them in a decent format on the forum is and art.
I sent my logs and fault code to Jerry at Eurocharge and figure he'll update the software and get me a new copy soon. Maybe he didn't take into account my Milltek Catless downpipes & Wagners? I would think that the Downpipes would only allow quicker spooling but not have anything to do with an Overboost? Wagners? (denser charge with better cooling but it is warm here in the Pacific NW for now (80'F/27'C). hahnmgh@yahoo.com
P.S. The Custom part of the coding was not only removing the codes from have the Catless Milltek's but also from the SAI system which I completely removed last year when I had my engine out (only threw a SAI code after 3~5 drives). But after one roundtrip to work (60 miles), so far so good on the codes.
