Ok, car is finally for sale for real now. I did install a new center arm rest, so that is fixed, and the car has 121k miles, not 123k (not sure why I thought it has more).
Teaser photo (all...
Yup, Manheim in CA. Yea, I had a cap and it took some time to find one that would fall under that cap (including fees, transport, etc).. found one with 39k miles, truck should arrive tomorrow.

Thanks
Sedan? Wagon? I am looking forward to getting my hands on one. Had an auction guy that deals heavily in MBs looking for one for a few months.... looks like he found a sweet example...
Yea, I hadn't even really thought about it until I bought the E63 and my brother pointed it out. The average age of cars I have owned is ~12+ years... I once bought a 2002 (in 2011), only to sell it...
I am moving on from my 2003 RS6. I just picked up a 2013 E63 AMG and for the first time in a long time I will own a car from the current decade.
Getting ad up and I will be adding more current...
perhaps to have a core to have rebuilt/improved so they don't have a ton of downtime when they do pull the engine to replace.
cable ordered. tracked down a friend's bentley manual. the one thing I can't find a pic/ref for is how to get to the other end of the cable (the end to the latch mech)... is that easily accessible...
awesome. shit, sounds much easier than doors from pervious audis. I'll find the part numbers of order everything up and just replace.
Thanks
Went to open the door last night and felt it let go. I have had the door apart on C4 cars many many times... wondering how much I have to take apart to get to it. Figure there are the normal hidden...
... actually twice (once on each side). Was fine unless I really got on it, then would get really loud whooosh (as expected). Easy to reattach.
sorry, missed your email. Will be around Friday of this week (9/2) if you haven't already had the coding swapped. If you did, interested to hear how it went.
Yea, MA has been tricky as of late. I have VCDS as well. Mine will not pass emissions either, even though it passed last year in NYS. Would be interesting to know what the ready monitors say that...
gdamn those are nice looking wheels. might I ask where you sourced them from? I looked on the Klassen site and didn't see the M53Rs..
not talking about emissions... figured you had that sorted out. I mean the 6 speed. They have been flagging cars that are supposed to be AUTO and have been converted to 6sp in MA for the MAC........
still curious on how this car will be inspected with MA plates... or are you not planning on keep in MA?
exhaust from turbos back.. or downpipes back?
So I feel like crawling around under my car... but how involved in the replacement of this cable? On my old UrS, it was pretty simple, but that wasn't 10lbs of stuff packed in to a 5lbs bag.
I...
not running any spacers.. no
you should check on that "emissions are fully tested" since I bought an NY car with the O2s coded out, and it got full pass on emissions that way in NY (at least that is what the previous owner told...

Janis been building Audis for quite some time... I saw some of his creations in the UrS car circles... last car of his I saw in person was the devil's CQ
...
Oh.. and be aware.. i see you have MA plates.. ain't no way you getting that inspected next time it comes around in MA... they flag all the conversions now...
Janis.... nice to see you over here. You back in the states?
