I can confirm what Nordschleife says, my 996 Turbo X50 initially had PCCB, I had them removed :mech: and the original Brembos fitted.
Miles better, and I'm including some track work in the equation...
Marcin,
I would register your concern NOW with your dealer, and make them aware that you know of at least two other cars with this problem.
I say two because I have a friend who lives not 5 miles...
My car is never left in the rain overnight.
This problem only occurs if you drive the car with the aircon on and then park it for 15 minutes or more in rainy/very damp conditions.
There is also a...
"densepack sub-bonnet engineering package"
Excellent :D
Funny thing is, there is a bloke who lives in a village not 5 miles from me with an Avant that has the very same problem!
Very...
I thought you might all like to hear this.
As some may remember, I have been having terrible condensation problems with my car when parked up if it's raining or very damp outside.
Well I...
Mine was coming on constantly and eventually they replaced the ECU.
No problems since.
Exactly :applause:
Anyone who is activating the ESP (other than by deliberate provocation) on a regular basis whilst driving on the public roads should not be driving at all IMHO  :eye: :deal:
My better half drives the RS6 alot of the time :revs:
But then she lets me play in her R32 now and again too :D
Thanks Chris I will...I'm going out there for the WRC...do every year :D
Well the plot thickens.
I might add that this has been a problem since I have had the car but seems to be getting worse.
This morning was dry, and I was out most of the morning and no problem....
Hi all,
I have a *very* bad problem with my RS6 Avant.
When the weather is as it has been here in the UK today, as in raining, if I drive the RS6 and then park it, when I come back to the car it...
Like you Robin I am fanatical about my tyres.
Only contact with the road and all that!
Funny but true eh
My car needs an ECU replacement, which (after a 3-week wait because they have to be "specially built") has now arrived.
However, they cannot now fit it because their...
Well one thing's for sure, there's no point in asking a dealer that question because they certaily won't have a clue
Hi Chris,
I did the day too, the reason it's not re-activating on the hot laps is the situation isn't severe enough, the system sees the slides as "controlled" if you like...with the systems off it...
Who does understand women
Calm down now :D
I have never claimed to be an expert at anything, my comment about spinning cars was ment to be a joke, i.e. yes I've spun many cars, mostly when I didn't mean to :eye: and also...
I would very much doubt that Nordschleife perambulates in anything but in a very respectable manner :D
ESP on all the time?
I severely doubt this and in fact know different.
As for the 8:29...
Mega were you there with your shopping trolley?
Mega is well known on the Lotus boards  , he's a Civic Type R DUDE :wo:
Problem now solved thanks!
yeah 'bout half yours :hahahehe:
Well of course the short answer to that is yes :hihi: however:
How do you input a postcode in SatNav +, I have the travel info update disk and that side of things works fine but I cannot find an...
Yep, chassis dynos are only really good for seeing "before and after" results of a bit of tweaking, and only then if you use the SAME one and the weather and setup is the same.
