The panel produces 13.6 volts in bright sun. It seems like the connection is broken somewhere, the light sensor that controls it isn't working or is obscured, or the relay is bad. I don't know...

I took my car to Audi today and paid them $95 for diagnostics. They indicated the panel was bad. I had a hard time believing that, so I did a bunch more reading and found how to get to the panel...

Is there a vagcom channel that would show the voltage from the sunroof?

Anyone know where a plug or something I can put a multimeter on is?

Are the strainer and filter seperate parts? Do you always do both?
Do you modify the filter pickup by cutting it to half an inch long like other have recommended?

I just got one from him. Awesome guy to deal with and he really knows his stuff. He also packed it about as good as anything I've ever received. I'm prepping for my install today.

Sorry to hear about your issue. I put the vagcom on mine and I'm not getting any codes from mine. Maybe the 97-100 degree weather is causing the issue for me too.
