In my opinion, it is because the S6 can deliver the claimed performance, while the RS5 is not even close. That is maybe because the twin-turbo is a better engine concept and I wouldn't be surprised...
I guess it wont need the engine sound enhancing system which can be found in the diesel models...
Because it is not a S7, I might say that I find its lack of Force disturbing, but besides that, I still like its Luke..Oops!
An era ended today...I'm also glad that I could see one of the toughest battles in racing history. Lets hope for Audi remains on the endurance racing game.
It's fast but what is so bizarre in it? MTM RS6 did 0-200km/h in 11sec. 3 years ago with only an ECU remap and sports exhaust. I don't really see any reasons to worry about.
You (well, not you, but many people nowadays) mention throttle response, turbo lag etc.. about new turbo engines. There is lag, no doubt, but how the hell does it compare to a NA engine response...
It mentions that it's the replacement for 1.8 TSI which is the same i think as Audis 1.8 TFSI. But it has just been replaced by a new high-tech 1.8 TFSI by Audi which features FSI/MPI dual injection....
Veyron is only the 4th most expensive of the 6 cars:applause:
Yes, but unfortunately, Sesto Elemento won't be street legal...
On these spy photos, it somehow reminds me of the original B5 RS4, which was lovely looking. Such a shame this one won't have turbos...
Placing turbos between the cylinder banks are good for reducing turbo lag and engine size. Thus the exhaust outtakes are between the cylinder banks, not on the sides of the engine and air suction...
No, they are all bi-turbo.
They're all twin turbo units. Nowhere mentions though where those turbos are. It's only a guess but according to the pictures of the engine bay, I'm not completely convinced that they sit between the...

Looks promising. But i wish there will be a two-door coupé as well besides the 3 door.
Audi missed nothing in my opinion. There is absolutely no need for a 400-500hp diesel in the 5 or 7 series. It's nothing but a marketing issue, just like V12 diesel in Q7. If someone wants to buy a...
But not until the S5 is powered by a 3.0 V6. I imagine testing of a new engine like the 2.5 TFSI in a platform requires many hours of test drive and costs a lot, but they've already had the 3.0 in S5...
I think there is no need for a 2.0T update. Why would it be necessary? As we discussed a few times earlier, you can get almost as many hp from a turbo engine as you want, but especialy, these 20-25hp...
Yes, i will watch it. Hope one of the Audis will win, for the first time. Audi haven't won any Nurburgring 24H race yet correct? Here is the time.
I think it's ready now: Audi A5 Eklund Racing 1000 hp from the 2.5L five-cylinder! I didn't hope to get these numbers so early, this engine is almost new to the market! Imagine what they will get in...
Otherwise C6 RS6 is still very competitive with new M5 if it comes to acceleration and other numbers, not to mention usability. I'm pretty sure that it won't beat C6 MTM RS6 without "hardware"...
The option of manual transmission is the best thing about it. It is nice to see that you still have the joy of driving in such a luxurious and powerful car.
Definitely! We can count that Audi will stay at least two or three years more from now. Till the end of the R18 program, which one was designed for using hybrid system. Though i hope that R18 is not...
Yes, i know, they had been considering for a long time. That was only my personal thought. But there is still challenge in Le Mans, as i mentioned before, i still hope that one day Audi can beat...
