A similar situation that BMW were in with the 1M. Still don't get the need for a 2.0L when there is a perfectly decent 1.6L that's already being developed for rally/racing purposes.

The S1 will have an engine no bigger than a 1.6L max, the RS1 if it gets the goahead might use it different engine and 2.0L is a possibility. My only concern would be that such an engine might make...
