yes you need new mirrors for autofolding since they have motors built in for that... as far as the tilting. i'm not sure what module it would be under, i tried looking but couldnt find anything that...

you should check the parking assist module in vag com... check the coding in it

this is something like the switch NA cars have that has the autofolding mirror option...

that would mean that your car doesnt have the autofolding option... try putting it into the passenger...

well considering that OCT told you that its not a simple flash, but a socketed chip, that would eliminate the possibility of the dealership "reflashing" it back to stock... either the PO or the...

i think all the 2003+ cars in NA come with both options.. the cars overseas probably dont... my old 01 4.2 didnt have auto folding mirrors, but had the auto-dip function

does your mirror switch have an emblem on the bottom of it in the center? if so, you have auto folding mirrors. also, if you turn it to the position where you adjust the right mirror, and put the car...

the codes refer to the type of mirrors the car has. some of them have only the auto folding mirrors, some have only the audo-dip function that points the mirror down in reverse, and some have both....

anyone got the link for the $125 TCU chip? I went on the MTM website and could only find the ECU chips... i tried emailing them, but no response...

ya i read the thread and i meant to say that its great that VMR is listening to its customers and offering the wheels in 9.5... if i did get the v710's, it would be in gunmetal, not silver

i was looking to get the 710's about 6 months ago, and the VMR website had them listed in 9;.5 for 5x112. but when i contacted VMR they said they dont make them in 5x112, and never will.... hopefully...

did they just take the B8 S4 and put some uglier headlights on it?

exactly... why would audi undercut the sales of a $200k Continental, by making a A8 which is a better car with the same motor? Same reason they dont make the R8 with the full 560HP... it would be...
