You just drop the Telematics although if you are going to hook up a factory Bluetooth to a RSN-E Nav head you will leave it the same as if you had Onstar as the factory Bluetooth uses about half of the Onstar wires. The factory Bluetooth with the RNS-E head is a very good setup. It retreives all of my phonebook, missed calls, dialed calls from my I-phone everytime I get in the car and the sound quality is very good and somewhat customizable with Vagcom as far as microphone pickup volume and standard in car volume compared to your radio settings when the call comes in.
GenXer, does the Kenwood have Bluetooth? I'm sure it does. How does it work on an incoming call? Through all of the speakers or just one as some systems do? Does it use the factory Onstar/Bluetooth Microphone in the overhead sunroof panel?
