Heavy rear end hit, apparently frame damage, right rear. No trunk lid, tail lights. Daytona Grey car, mechanically excellent, 01E, KWV3, 19" Rotiforms, new Michelin Pilot Sports, black leather in excellent shape, CF trim etc.
Motor turbos etc all stock, nubcake tune, 160k on the car.
What would I expect to make in a part out and what are the most valuable parts?

I think the amount you could get largely depends on how much work you are willing to do. If you tear the car apart and put all the pieces on ebay, you could probably get a lot, but it's going to take a long time and a lot of work on your part. A lot of the parts are valuable, but it's a pretty limited market and unfortunately, there seems to be a fair number of part-outs right now. The engine is certainly worth a decent amount, and the front clip is very valuable to someone that just ran into something!Quote:

How many RS6's have been hulked out? Are we past the 10% range yet (i.e. 100'ish) or is it even more than that?
Thx GreggPDX. Good info. The trouble is I live in a small town so large parts like doors, motor etc means shipping, which is a royal pain. Been there, done that.
