What gives? I see the maxed out price of a 2018 S6 on Audiusa is about 86k, but there are multiple listings for much more. $104,000, $99,700, $96.500, etc etc.

And there are more than 500 listed on auto trader.
16 of them are more than 90k.....
I don't think its a "rare" car.
Mike
Mike
do you need new? Buy a CPO 16 for 60k and enjoy the savings
No need just puzzled by the asking prices....WTF.....
Mike
Maybe just standard markup so they can "lower" the price and give the buyer a "deal"...areas could be tougher to obtain that specific version too.
I don't think customers are that stupid in today's connected society
Maintaining a beloved rare car full of memories is not the same as spending 20 grand over sticker for a VERY common car! And with over 500 on Autotrader, the 2018 S6 is far from rare!
It is the 'stupid marginally rich' who keep mending this GD money pit car....running great, but friggen battery warning bleeps in my face....and I cannot see the A/c controls at night, dam it......spring project (when I don't need the winter wheels) SPEND MORE MONEY on this money pit!
LOL
Mike
I don't think many on this site spend over sticker price on any car!
Mike
I see a YouTube documentary in your future
The money pit
or "Dhall1 and Eight Pits of money!"
Just have to say this was my path, and while I bounce back and forth driving the RS6 and the S6, the S6 is a damn nice ride. But you cannot compare the interior features of the two cars, as 12 years made quite the difference here. Almost decadent in the S6 with seat massages! The S6 is the perfect highway cruiser but a radar detector is highly recommended, as speed develops quietly and quickly.
