    Lpg

Living in central London I am confronted with the congestion charge every day (£8 with the threat of £25 per day next year). Rather than trade in the beast I am considering an LPG conversion. Anyone done a conversion or know of any potential problems to avoid?

The idea of having the and being congestion charge exempt is very tempting.

    Thanks

I can't see how you will have a problem as long as the installation have been done professionally.

If you think that is tempting and humorous, just imagine running the R8v12TDi on chip fat when it's launched.

Thanks for the link to the video, the S8 certainly seems to be able to hold its own. It has certainly put my mind at rest! The LPG system does not seem to have affected the performance. It would be great to be driving in the congestion charge zone every day and be exempt.

    Thanks

    Hi,

you were waching my video and my car

If you plan a LPG conversion, ask a company that conversed such car like yours before.

Try this for 310km/h on LPG

If conversion is dona by a profesional company, you realy want feel much diference.

Italian BRC is doing great job on that field.

Thanks for all your input but have now been told the RS6 is not on the registered list so even if LPG conversion is carried out it would still be subject to congestion charge .

    Thanks again.

    Maybe bio-ethanol?
