Hi,

I just like to mention that the Audi R10 suspension are not based with springs and shock absorbers ! ! !

Maybe it has that magnet based suspension or something like that, i now that they are developing some super-advanced suspension, i think it's magnet, but i am not sure.

 :vhmmm:

This?

http://www.creuat.com/

"The torsion bar suspension (something else the R10 shares with the Bentley!). The connecting bit at the top is the 3rd "spring" (Sach twin damper unit) which primarily controls dive and squat, the torsion bar itself resides nearly vertical down the side of the gearbox. The anti roll bar passes through the bell housing. The upper A-arms are of round section steel, not aero section."

To translate, There are dampers and springs, but you cant see them as they're inboard... haha

There is a spring just not in the Curly pig tail type that we are used too. The carbon suspension arm/strut/torsionbar can act as a spring....

sorry, I just re-read my first comment and I didnt mean to sound so sarcastic...
What I meant was that there has to be something that acts as a spring and a form of damping in any suspension set up otherwise the wheels will simply not keep in contact with the ground.
