View Full Version : Got my Movits fitted today
February 6th, 2003, 21:35
Today my Movits were fitted at http://www.kmtuning.com/
So far I've only driven 50 km and it is really icy outside but they seem very nice so far.
The wheel on the picture is Audi original 17" with Pirelli studded winter tyres - it's quattro weather outside to say the least.
I'll save the pictures of the Movits with my 18" BBS RXII fitted for laters... :cool2:
Article and more pictures will be posted in the future, stay tuned.
(The car is an A6 2.7T 2002.)

 Did I see 17" wheels over those Movit's? Seems like I read somewhere that 18" was the smallest wheel that would fit over the OEM brakes on the RS6. Is that true? If so it seems that the Movit's are slightly smaller than the OEM brakes/rotors.

I have an A6 2.7T. sorry for not making that clear.
What size tyres fit over on the RS6 has to do with the size of the rotor, obviously if the rotor is larger you have to go up in size of the wheel.
Since I 18" summer tyres I could have gone with a larger rotor, but I'm stuck with 17" winter tyres so 322 mm is the largest.
There are other configurations by RS6 tuners with 400 mm or 365 mm which requires 20" or 19" wheels.

Even some 16" rims fits over the 322mm-Porsche-Biturbo brakes...
