I went to a tack meet at a frozen lake with some friends a while back, here are a couple of shots. There are more in the article linked below.

Cold but loads of fun - particularly so to ride along in an Impreza turbo on rally ice-tires..! Insane grip :eek:

Guess I should say no. Imprezas totally ruled the ice. There was a 4wd Octavia 1.8T there, with major traction and handling issues. Understeered like crazy, would not drift even with ESP off and various fuses pulled. Must say as a VAG fan, I had a terrible day in this respect...

Unless the new A4 quattros are a massive step forwards, I think Audis rally heritage will finally be buried. Even me, not accustomed to 4wd, found the 2000 Impreza easy to drive and a hoot to drift...
