This is a semi-closed event, i.e. people just going to the Detroit auto show won't see Bangle -- but those who sign up for his speech via this link will.

Another speaker towards the end of the day is the designer of Cadillac's STS.

Officially, the Detroit auto show is NAIAS -- the North American International Auto Show. I've been twice in recent years, and it is SPECTACULAR. Patience is required to deal with the crowds, however, expecially on weekends.

Keep in mind this event on the 12th precedes by three days the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in downtown Detroit. Anyone serious about going should expect crowds, casinos, traffic, and a downtown remake in progress (preparing for 2006 Super Bowl)...not to mention winter weather in Detroit, which usually ranges from bad to awful. If you can put up with all that it should be fun! :D
