If I hadn't gone for tiptronic in my A6 2.7TQ I might have been interested in a few parts in this kit... :cool2:

Still, inlet pipes look very nice and Carbon Fibre too.

The APR "bi-pipe" as it has been called, is definitely
well worth the expenditure if one has modded the S4/A62.7.
We(here in the States), had a rash of broken/torn TBB's when
we first started chipping over about 300 horses. Of course, Samco
makes the silicone TBB as a bomber replacement, but the bi-pipe eliminates
all problems with the torn boot, plus it looks fantastic. APR is under a
scrutinous eye from AoA and Audi/VAG, which is one of the reasons the
new ECU software is so much more complicated. But having said that,
my S4 Avant has been running at 390hp on Sunoco 104 oct. for a while now,
and I've never had an issue with a torn TBB(knock on wood). Sure is a well manufactured part
though. I know several of the guys at APR, and they are very knowledgeable and meticulous
in their engineering/designing of Audi products. The new A41.8t kits will be very nice.

Do you have the adress to the hompage of APR?
Would be quite nice to have a look at what they got for the 1.8t.

Nicke,
APR's website is "www.goapr.com"

Their mods for the B5 are extensive, and the stage 3 kit is pretty
sick, especially in the 1.8 VW's, but they JUST finished cracking the code
on the B6 ECU's, so the kits for that will follow shortly, I'm sure. Have fun
checking out their website. I run their 93 octane program in my S4 and have the EMCS
with all the programs, and have been quite pleased with it. Early kinks in the
rough powerband were corrected, and it's always fun/prudent to put the car
in "valet" mode when having it serviced or parked, to ward off any over-zealous
attendants'/technicians' joyrides(I've had this happen at the dealership locally).

You should see their 911TT, though. It puts out some pretty nasty power to the wheels.
