Editing posts?

Did the Administrator prevent us from editing our own posts, as I can't seem to go back and edit mine due to spelling errors, picture posting issues, etc. If so, why??

Actually, I see I can now 'edit' this post, but it must be on some kind of time delay (i.e. after 2 hours, no editing allowed)?

There is a time delay, can't remember how long now.
