Hi,
I'm now about to post something here that actually doesn't really belong here, but I just want your choice over this one...
what would you choose as a first car:
- '98 Honda Civic: 1.4 gasoline, Auto trans, aircon, cd-player,
silver-met.
OR
- +-'94 Audi 80 Avant: 1.9 TDI 90hp engine, manual 5-speed,
aircon, cd-player, dark couloured metallic, 'Avantgarde' (audi-
individual) wheels, bumpers and lowering.
The civic costs nothing, the Audi around $1500;
the civic is about $200 tax, the audi about $350 tax;
the civic is about $1000 insurance, the audi the same.
the civic consumes about 10litres/100km GASOLINE ($1.00/litre), the audi consumes about 6 litres/100km DIESEL ($0.70/litre)
I would pick the Audi, but I would like to know what you guys think.
It's actually for a friend of mine.
thx for any input,
best regards,
