Starting in Ahaus, North of Düsseldorf (Germany), you drive to Paris, the luxury capital of France. This fascinating metropolis has its own legendary charme and belongs to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. From Paris the Torpedo Run continues to the land of the volcanos and Lyon, the French capital of gastronomy.

Torpedo Run follows the roads to elegant St. Tropez. But before arriving at the Mediterranean coast we will spectacularly conquer the winding and attractive mountain roads of the Western Alps. St. Tropez, the embodiment of jet set tourism at the French Riviera, is known for its party life. This town offers the perfect atmosphere for the Grand Final.

Each night you will stay in luxury hotels, revel in culinary pleasures and celebrate eccentric parties - the cream of the crop. Torpedo Run is not a race. So the Torpedo Run got the official go of the government and administrative authority.

Whether you are driving a new sportscar, a luxury sedan or a classical car - your passion for the Torpedo Run is what counts. Last year the grid included cars like Mini Cooper S, Hummer H2, Ferrari F430, Corvette Z06, Porsche 997 Turbo as well as Lamborghini Diablo SV and Porsche Carrera GT.

The locations and venues this year are something not to be missed. The motto "Torpedo Run in the altitudes" runs through the events. Teams who have already participated in the Torpedo Run know that the Torpedo Run has superb events coming along with a lot of fun. New challenges and exclusive events are going to await you at all times.

Don't miss the trip of your life. Whoever thinks they have the determination for a great mobile party as it’s best, should enter the Torpedo Run.

I am afraid the German police will have their hand in this...they are not accepting these kind of tours anymore, even if you are claiming to be keeping to the speedlimits.

In any case I hope it'll be (another) success!

We start at the same place in Germany like last year in September. Everything was fine and we handed out a copy to every participant that we really have the official go of the government. For this year's event the administrative authorities gave us again the official go. There is no need to worry! :)

Ok good to hear so mate! But you hear so much about events like these stopped by the polizei that I was afraid it might concern this one too.

Wish you guys all the best of fun, and more important, a safe trip!

Thanks a lot! :)

Right, many events were stopped in Germany last year. We talked a lot to the government last year and finaly they gave us the official Go for the Torpedo Run 2007. And for this year we received it again. :)

You can imagine that that the drivers were really happy to experience the German Autobahn. The teams respected the laws and the police was happy, but had an eye on the Torpedo Run. Anyways, especially the teams from foreign countries, like UK, enjoyed it a lot.

If you want to drive on an event in Germany, come to the Torpedo Run! Last year we brought the proof that we are allowed to drive in Germany. The participants come from different countries: Spoken language is English.
