The S5/A5 has a badly designed side profile. Very heavy, and the angled roof does not go with the curvy lines of the rest of the car.

You may say that from the photos but trust me its gorgeous in real life. Has great stance and sits perfectly.
You should really get off these forums if you want to live up to your name, do it somewhere else...

I don't know why you let this guy get to you ? He obviously has an agenda, and only want to "hurt" audi owners.

Regarding these pic's, i really love both cars. The engine from the M3 in the S5, and it would be perfect :). Ive just never really eprisiated those quad ekshaust's on the M3 - they sit too close to each other IMO.

Nice pics, looking forward to what that test will say about the M3 Vs S5. About the color on the S5 I have to reckon that I like a LOT more in some white color...a few moths ago Erik posted an RS 4 with a beautiful white, I believe it was Suzuka or some thing...THAT would definetelly look awesome on the S5.

Cheers guys

Dude, I just saw one today at the garage.

I did not say the S5 is ugly, only the side profile is fubared. The curvy roof suddenly goes all straight lines. Also the shoulder line is crooked around the rear wheel. That's the only part I don't like. The rest is nice.

Dear JavierNuvolari,

here you go with Ibiswhite, no Suzukagrey Pearl S5 made yet.

Of course it is. I like the look of the S5 but what I DONīT like is the interior. The feel of the buttons etc are way to plastic and not even close the feeling in the RS4. Also, the cd-changer is, imo, misplaced and is quite ugly when itīs fitted in the centre.

I didn't find the fit or feel different than any of my recent Audis, but I am not a big fan of any of these i-Drive/MMI systems, give me the good old fashioned set-up anyday but alas you have to except that change is progress regardless if you see it as that at the time.

Yo dude, been watching you for weeks on rs246.com!!! WTF is your deal????? First you go hell for leather on the B7 RS4 and now you turn your attention to the S5!! If you don't have anything constructive to add why don't you just not bother? Or atleast start a constructive thread of your own?? In the meantime.........

Take one of these FFS!!!!

I think when you see the S5 sitting along side other cars, other than Audis you will appreciate just how good this car looks. It's the way I felt when I first saw the 3series coupe in the showroom, I thought yeah it's OK but I expected more, that was until I saw one next to a Mondeo and I thought it was the best looking Beemer in a long time.

But it's still not as pretty as the S5.:D

A5/S5 is looking absolutely fantastic, to bad that these are S5 - M3 pic's, RS 5 would be more convinient for this opurtunity, bad let us whait a while and that will happend...

a5/s5 is fantastic in real like. the m3exhaust does bug me too...apparently they have that ... interesting quad exhaust design trademarked though (its similar on the e46 m3, but doesnt look as out of place...)

Look at the side view mirrors on the M3, what where they thinking?
