Audi halts A5 Production

Friend of mine has just phoned me very pee'd off that Audi have informed him that they have halted production due to some kind of fault. Apparently there are 8 levels of production. All cars that are completed at level 8 are fine and will be delivered but delays will occur to everyone else. His car was at stage 7.

Don't know anymore than that at this stage

Will be at the dealer within the week or so and will enquire if my car is going to be held up, but as mine is still some months away I reckon any problems currently should be fixed and production back up to speed by the time my car roles off the production line.

I don't think there are 8 levels ... I've heard something about 5 levels when I've bought my A4 ...
