Well to tell you the truth, I'm picking Quartz Grey or Silver with red leather as I was a pimp in a previous life.:D

The new s5 and the rs4 in Bulgaria. The cars will be used for car chase in movie directed by Luc Besson ... he is responsible for taxi 1,2,3,4 so the s5 is going to be a movie star :thumb:

Great forum just joined.
I must say WOW to these pictures of the A5 and S5. Pictures are stunning indeed and I'm sure Audi is working on a Convertible version.

Hi Guys,
New member, first post. :360:
Had my M3 stolen and had to replace it with something. Don't like the look of the new M3 at all, think RS4 prices will be hit soon for various reason, so just ordered myself a S5 for delivery at the end of July / Start of August. :thumb:
It will be Phantom Black with Red Magma Sports seats
Carbon Atlas Trim
Bang & Olufsen Sound System
Heated Front Seats (didn't want them but dealer told me to spec it)
Advanced Key
Bluetooth Mobile Connect
Sat Nav System Plus
Audi Music Interface
Audi Parking System
Folding Mirrors
Storage Pack (why on earth is this not standard)
Have to say, i was pleasantly suprised with the prices for Audi's extras on this car. The B&O Sound System was £525, im told this is several thousand on the A8.
Looking forward to driving an Audi and having my very first brand new car :dig:

elstimpo,
You lucky devil, I am getting mine for Jan'08. Alas the Q7 is too new to change just yet. Spec wise we are on the same wave length with the exceptions being Advanced Key, Bluetooth and the colour (Quartz Grey).
Please report your findings as soon as you get her, especially as you were a former M3 owner and can give a good opinion on how Audi's latest offering has turn out regarding driver involvement and excitement.

Having never owned an Audi before, i am quite excited to see how i get on with them. Had quite a few BMW's and have to admit, the M3 is some car to beat. Im a little nervous i won't find the Audi as involving or responsive as the M3, but what do i know, never driven an Audi in my life so that opinion comes from nowhere.
Will deff put pics up and a write up as soon as it comes.
My friends have ordered the Turbo Diesel's A5, so will get a go in one of those too and see what thats like. They went for the more sensible option, where as im never sensible when it comes to cars, or anything else for that matter.

elstimpo,
If you don't like them check your pulse, mate your dead. Seriously like all cars first impression aren't living with the thing, only post your reply after a couple of getting to know you months. As for responsiveness after owning a S4v8 for a couple of years the engine is a bit lazier than that of the M3 but the plus is more low down torque and maybe bias a sweeter exhaust note. The performance is there and more accessible too and thought your live in London when you do travel up north especially in winter you will love the extra confidence the four wheel drive has to offer.
Trust me you will love the experience of ownership.
